Rajiv is the Senior Partner of Incept Legal. He has over twenty-five years’ practice in civil, commercial, banking and insurance laws, consumer protection laws, and regulatory and infrastructure laws, with a specialised focus on electricity laws.
He appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, tribunals and commissions.

Rajiv specialises in regulatory laws practice in the power and energy sector. He has appeared in landmark cases before the Supreme Court of India and the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, including:

Rajiv is panel counsel for Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd., the Uttar Pradesh State Load Despatch Centre (UPSLDC), Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (UPPTCL) and other entities including the Indian Ordnance Factories, representing them before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission in landmark cases in the field of electricity law.
