Arpit is an Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India and has over fourteen years of experience across multiple areas of legal practice.

He has represented clients before the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi, Allahabad and Bombay High Courts, among others, in disputes relating to general civil, commercial and criminal law.

Government and public sector work

Arpit has represented the Union of India before the Delhi High Court in the capacity of Senior Panel Counsel. He serves a number of other government organisations — including the Indian Nursing Council, the National Waqf Development Corporation and BSNL — as legal consultant and panel counsel.

Background

Arpit previously worked in the chambers of Sri Salman Khurshid, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, as a senior associate, where he assisted and briefed on matters pertaining to company law, arbitration, competition law and criminal law. That period developed his court craft and his approach to the development of a point of law.

Arpit regularly represents clients before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, the State and National Consumer Forums, and the Central Administrative Tribunal.
